For the 10th year in a row, Subaru of America has invited Meals on Wheels to participate in its annual Share the Love Event! From November 16, 2017, through January 2, 2018, Subaru will donate $250 to a host of charities – including Meals on Wheels America – for every new Subaru vehicle sold or leased, based on customer choice.
Why does Subaru support Meals on Wheels? Too many seniors are struggling to stay independent and healthy. One in four seniors lives alone in isolation and one in six seniors might not know from where their next meal is coming. This is simply unacceptable, which is why Piedmont Senior Resources, AAA provides the nutritious meals, friendly visits and safety checks to the seniors of the Piedmont District. This vital support keeps seniors in their own homes, where they want to be.
Meals on Wheels America is one of four national participating charities, and has been since the inception of the event. And through this campaign, as a Member of Meals on Wheels America, Piedmont Senior Resources, AAA will receive a share of the revenue earned in Virginia.

Donations should be delivered by December 10th to the Piedmont Senior Resources’ office located at 1413 South Main Street, in Farmville, or Real Living Cornerstone located at 238 North Main Street n Farmville.
