Get a great vehicle and support a great cause. With every new Subaru purchased or leased from November 19 through January 4, Subaru and its retailers will donate a minimum of $300 to charities like Meals on Wheels when a customer chooses a participating charity.
Since the Subaru Share the Love Event began in 2008, Subaru and its retailers have helped support the delivery of more than 5.2 million meals and friendly visits to seniors served by local Meals on Wheels providers nationwide. For more information, visit www.mealsonwheelsamerica.org/sharethelove.

PSR’s annual Santa for Seniors project provides Christmas bags for homebound older adults in the seven counties served by the local nonprofit. The goal this year is 500 gift bags.

Everyone is welcome. Stop by to donate to Santa for Seniors, or give online any time.
In addition to monetary donations, PSR is collecting non-perishable food items and toiletries such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, bath towels, shampoo, lotion, deodorant, small containers of laundry detergent, soap, and blankets.
Donate items in person at 1413 S. Main Street, or give online. Labeled donation boxes are at many locations around Farmville as well as in surrounding counties. The easiest way to contribute is by using the QR codes on PSR’s donation boxes, website and social media posts.
As in years past, donated items for Santa for Seniors will be packed by staff and volunteers and delivered to homebound clients during the week before Christmas.
Packing parties are December 7 to 11, and delivery is December 14 to 17. Volunteers are welcome to join us at PSR.
