Home safety and minor repair help for older adults, such as grab bars, mobility devices, and small repairs.
The CHORE Program is one of the three At-Home Services PSR offers to older adults who live at home. Care Coordination and CHORE provide home maintenance services that improve resident safety, such as installing bathroom grab bars, supplying mobility devices, and completing minor home repairs.
CHORE is intended for persons 60 years of age or older who need extra assistance, have disabilities, or are at risk of institutional placement. Priority assistance shall be given to persons who are in the greatest economic or social need as well as those residing in rural or geographically isolated areas, with particular attention given to low-income minority individuals and individuals with limited English proficiency.
