The Heart of Virginia Free Clinic recently donated excess diabetic and nutrition supplies to Piedmont Senior Resources Area Agency on Aging. The presentation was made Tuesday, Dec. 4 at the Heart of Virginia Free Clinic, located at 1702 South Main Street in Farmville. The donation included diabetic supplies, test strips, syringes and nutrition for those with special dietary needs. Piedmont Senior Resources provides advocacy, health and nutrition services, home delivered meals, congregate meals at senior centers, information and referral services, in-home services, legal services and Medicare and insurance guidance to seniors. PSRAAA’s services are designed to help seniors lead independent lives and remain safely in their homes.
